What is the stud fee and how is it paid?

Accepted Answer

The total stud fee is $1,250. A $250 reservation deposit secures the appointment and can be paid online through our secure card checkout link (or in person by cash or cashier's check). The $1,000 balance is due on service day in person by cash or cashier's check. Those are the only payment methods we accept — we never ask for payment apps, gift cards, crypto, or wire transfers. Deposit refunds follow the kennel refund policy shown during booking.

Do you offer pick-of-litter instead of a fee?

Accepted Answer

No. Puppies, pick-of-litter arrangements, and payment plans are not accepted unless separately agreed in writing.

Question 3

What health documentation do you require?

Accepted Answer

Current vaccination and health records, truthful reproductive history, and a current negative Brucellosis test for the female.

Question 4

Can I see registration paperwork?

Accepted Answer

Registration documentation available upon request for approved breeding inquiries. The 4-generation pedigree can be viewed online at any time.

Question 5

Who owns and handles Bubba Dub's stud service?

Bubba Dub Kennels. We are his owners and handle all of his stud service ourselves — bookings, agreements, and payments go directly through us.

Question 6

Do you handle, raise, or sell puppies?

Accepted Answer

No. This is stud service only. The female owner remains solely responsible for pregnancy, whelping, puppy care, registration, and placement.

Question 7

Is a repeat service available?

Accepted Answer

At the stud owner's discretion, one repeat service to the same eligible female may be offered on the next suitable heat after written veterinary confirmation of no pregnancy. No cash refund is issued.

Question 8

Who pays travel, collection, and veterinary costs?

Accepted Answer

The female owner is responsible for heat-cycle timing, transportation, veterinary care, testing, collection, shipping, artificial insemination, and related expenses.
